Adult Sunday School Class (through Sunday, August 01)

Our current adult Sunday School series is titled, "Christianity's Family Tree: What Other Christians Believe and Why."  In this DVD-based series, Rev. Adam Hamilton, pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, presents a welcoming, inspiring vision of eight Christian denominations and faith traditions.  Comparing the Christian family to our own extended families, Hamilton contends that each denomination has a unique, valuable perspective to offer on the Christian faith.

The traditions we will discuss include Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism, Baptists, Pentecostalism, and Methodism.  For each tradition, Hamilton will present a brief history, an outline of major beliefs, and a description of some things we can learn from that tradition to strengthen our own Christian faith.  Please join us as we explore our family tree!
